Imagine a musical YMCA, where people can come to study any instrument or any style of music. The Encinitas School of Music, ESoM, is a non-profit organization with the goal of providing music education of all instruments to all people beginning at six years of age. ESoM is a place where teachers, students, and parents come together to create a more musically oriented and culturally aware community.

ESoM employs experienced professional instructors for teaching all levels and styles of music. Our instructors work with students to bring them to the point where they have the ability to perform in student recitals and/or professionally. The performance experience inspires confidence and awareness, which cannot be achieved any other way. Musical ensembles offer a healthy outlet and social structure for all musicians. After this, the student may wish to progress to recording arts education and/or become a music educator.

Whether you aspire to become a classical musician, enjoy the creativity of improvisational jazz, or just want to play around the campfire, the Encinitas School of Music is a place where anyone’s musical dreams can come true.
